Project Overview & Objectives:



Germaine Laboratories is an FDA-registered manufacturing facility specializing in point-of-care testing supplies for medical, drug testing, veterinary, and food & beverage industries. The primary objective for this website overhaul was to modernize both its design and functionality, aligning the digital presence with the quality of their products.

As an FDA-registered, ISO 13485:2016-certified facility, Germaine Laboratories wanted to spotlight their commitment to quality and exceptional customer service, reflected in their tagline, “Quality in everything we do.” At Xponent21, we share this dedication to excellence, which made collaborating on this project particularly rewarding.Our primary focus was to highlight Germaine Laboratories’ unwavering commitment to quality while enhancing the design and content for an improved user experience. We strategically developed landing pages with industry-specific content and filtered product views to ensure each sector they serve could easily find relevant offerings. To further support the visitor journey, we integrated resources such as FAQs and a glossary, delivering a seamless ecommerce experience where users can effortlessly navigate, filter products, access critical information, and complete purchases.

Our Approach:



Our primary focus was to highlight Germaine Laboratories’ unwavering commitment to quality while enhancing the design and content for an improved user experience. We strategically developed landing pages with industry-specific content and filtered product views to ensure each sector they serve could easily find relevant offerings. To further support the visitor journey, we integrated resources such as FAQs and a glossary, delivering a seamless ecommerce experience where users can effortlessly navigate, filter products, access critical information, and complete purchases.

To ensure continuity for returning customers, we preserved existing user accounts and purchase histories during the data migration process. Midway through the project, the global pandemic introduced the need for additional product offerings, including COVID-19 testing kits, which we efficiently integrated into the platform.

Given their diverse customer base in San Antonio and beyond, it was also crucial to provide content in both English and Spanish. To meet this need, we collaborated with a translator and implemented a tool that allows users to switch between languages with a single click, ensuring an inclusive and accessible experience for all visitors.
