Should my brand be on YouTube?

Probably if you produce video at all. YouTube behaves like a search engine and a library rather than a feed, so a video answering a specific buyer question can bring in qualified traffic for years. It is also the natural home for podcast episodes, product demos, webinar recordings, and conference talks you have already recorded and are otherwise wasting. You do not need a subscriber strategy to get value. Well-titled videos with real descriptions, chapters, and transcripts, organized into playlists by topic, pull search traffic on their own, and YouTube content gets cited in AI answers frequently enough that it is worth treating as a visibility asset. The work is in the metadata and the organization, not in production polish.
